In September of 2002, we again traveled on one of Jerry Van Dyke's riverboat tours. This time we traveled the Rhine through Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland from Amsterdam to Basel with a side trip down the picturesque Moselle. We hope you enjoy our travel pictures from this vacation.

More information about Jerry Van Dyke tours can be obtained at:

Day 1
Amsterdam to Arnhem

After an overnight flight, our first stop was to the outdoor museum at Zaanse Schans near Amsterdam. Then it was off to our boat, the Rembrandt Van Rijn to unpack and relax as we cruised to Arnhem

Day 2
Arnhem to Dusseldorf

We had an overnight stop in Dusseldorf where we got to tour the downtown area and then we continued up the Rhine to Cologne

Day 3
Dusseldorf to Konigswinter

The skyline of Cologne is domonated by it's magnificent cathedral

The cathedral is spectacular both inside and out. A walk through the city on a beautiful autumn day is very enjoyable.

Day 4
Konigswinter to Linz

A ride up the cog railroad at Konigswinter took us to the top of the Drachenfels and provided a view of the Rhine and our boat

This was followed by a very enjoyable walking tour in the pretty town of Linz
